With the arrival of the “Block Strike x TACZERO” crossover event, the July 2025 update for Blood Strike looks to be a blockbuster. We are going to have a “blocky” theme bringing similar graphics, a new weapon, a brand new map, and a lot of new content.

New SMG: UMP45 and Laser Attachment
The UMP45 is the newest SMG added to the game. It comes with a special Laser attachment that lets you shoot while moving quickly in a tactical stance. You can unlock and try this gun by leveling up your Strike Pass, and it’s great for fast-paced gunfights.
Pixel Art Makeover and new Visuals
The entire game has received a full pixel art makeover. Characters, weapons, items, and even the menus now have a blocky retro look. Despite the visual change, the core gameplay of high-intensity battles, short match times, and fast respawns stays the same.
This is also changing the game’s look to a retro block style. This also brought in Crystal Ore, which gives you Crystals, Warp Grenades, and random weapons when mined. Crystals give you special powers, while Warp Grenades let you teleport short distances.
New Map: Blockfield
A new map called Blockfield has been added. It supports multiple game modes like Hot Zone and Arms Race, and it’s built with a block-style look. The map has lots of high ground, bunkers, and sniper spots, so make sure to stay alert and use cover wisely.
Changes to Weapons and Strikers
Some weapons and characters have been adjusted. The Akimbo Uzi now deals slightly less damage. Lucian‘s teleport skill has been changed, and visual bugs have been fixed. Kraken now heals more and absorbs souls faster. Jack‘s Scare Box skill has been made smoother, but his damage resistance is now lower.
Pixel Trend Strike Pass
Starting July 15, the new Strike Pass: Pixel Trend will offer the UMP weapon, a car skin, and more rewards. The Elite Pass gives 520 gold bars, Ultra and Epic skins, and more items. The Premium Pass includes a special UZI skin and even more rewards for those who want to unlock everything.
Limited-Time Skins and Weapons
Many cool skins are coming this month. These include the M4A1 – Tiadraco dragon skin, Nova – Nightmare, Kar98k – Netherflame, P90 – Phantomrift, and more. Each one brings special effects and looks, and they will only be available for a short time.
Free Rewards, Events, and new features
A new Maze event has started, explore it to earn free Ultra skins, music packs, and crates. On July 19, 2025, you can log in to get a free AR97-Bit Strike Pixel skin for one day only. Invite your friends to earn gold bars and other rewards.
There are also weekly events and match challenges where you can get free vouchers and in-game items. There are more ways to earn free gold bars this month. Simply log in to earn 100 gold, and then invite up to three friends for a total of 500 gold bars.
You can now customize your Playpal character with a new system that unlocks more options over time. If you are using Steam, you can also now use their Steam avatars in-game. The shop has added four new weapon skins, and daily sign-in rewards have been improved for both new and returning players.
