List of Character Classes in Once Human
Once Human is introducing a new class system, and unlike traditional MMOs, it isn’t about rigid roles. Instead, these jobs are flexible, offering unique abilities that allow you to follow different playstyles. The first three classes, Chef, Gardener, and Beastmaster, let you cook, cultivate, and command in cool ways.
1. Chef
Inspired by real-life cooking, the Chef class lets you break free from the formula-based cooking system. You can mix ingredients however you like to create original dishes with unique effects. Plus, you can use three talents: Glutton, Ingredient Scent, and Fine Cuisine.

You’ll start with a Campfire Stove, which is solar-powered and portable, and a Gourmet Atlas, which keeps track of every dish you make. Chef’s core ability, Creative Cooking, removes recipe restrictions and gives a chance to boost your dishes with enhanced effects.
2. Gardener
The Gardener class lets you manipulate the environment and use biomechanical crops to your advantage. In Nalcott, these plants can defend your base, help you gather resources, and assist you in combat. It includes talents like Environmental Expert, Portable Planting, and Greenhouse Technology.

You’ll start with a Portable Planter Box to carry and cultivate seeds, and an Environment Detector to monitor nearby environmental conditions. With the HP Sewing core ability, you can graft crops with other plants or biomechanical parts for special results.
3. Beastmaster
With the Beastmaster class, you no longer see animals as just livestock, and they’re now your companions. You can understand them, communicate with them, and even lead them to battle. You can also take advantage of talents like Beast Whisperer, Bleeding Expert, and Wilderness Master.

You’ll start with a Beast Whistle to summon your chosen animal and select from three beast partners. Pongo the boar gathers items, Misha the bear defends you, and Shiro, the evolving wolf, can grow stronger. With the Beast Partner ability, you can use the Whistle to summon and command a partner.
