Tencent Games is gearing up to launch the closed beta test for Just Dance: Party, also known as Okay Dance, in China starting July 25, 2025, for both Android and iOS platforms. Titled the “rhythm awakening test”, the registrations for the same have already begun.
This mobile-exclusive title is a spin-off of the globally popular Just Dance franchise and series of rhythm games from Ubisoft. The original game debuted in 2009 for the Nintendo Wii, and since then has seen a lot of releases, including Just Dance Now.
Dress up avatars and even track your calories while dancing in Just Dance Party
First revealed during the Tencent SPARK Gaming Conference this April 2025, Just Dance: Party aims to recreate the energetic experience of its console counterpart on mobile devices. However, unlike previous mobile entries, Just Dance: Party goes beyond a simple rhythm game.
You will use your phone’s cameras for real-time motion capture and enjoy dancing. The game boasts vibrant visuals, and customizable avatars and promises a wide library of popular songs through partnerships with renowned global music labels.
Since it is labeled as a party game, more social features are expected with this one. From the promotional images, you can also see customization is there, where you dress up your character in cool outfits. There is also an image that highlights how dancing helps you burn calories. Interesting stuff overall.
Well, if you are from China and want to participate in the upcoming closed beta test for Just Dance Party, fill in the questionnaire. If you qualify, the download link will be sent to your email address. This test will be a limited-time, data-wipe test available for both Android and iOS users.
Global announcement of the same isn’t out yet, so we will have to wait for updates. Keep an eye on this space for the same.
