Back again with another edition of my Monthly Mobile Gaming News Roundup, and June 2025 brought plenty of heat in the world of mobile games. From global launches and major soft launches to fresh updates and surprise announcements, this month kept players busy.

There’s a lot to cover, so I’ve rounded up all the key highlights for you right here. Let’s jump in and take a look at everything June had in store!

Monthly Mobile Gaming News Roundup for June 2025

Week 1: June 01 to June 07

Executive Summary

The first week of June 2025 kicked off with a diverse batch of mobile gaming news. Notable launches included Vampire’s Fall 2, BTS Cooking On STOVE: TinyTAN, Amazing Cultivation Simulator, and White Day. Upcoming June releases such as Go Go Wolf!, What Duck, and True Fear 3 were also spotlighted.

SHIFT UP officially unveiled Project Spirits, a major new fantasy title targeting a 2027 cross-platform global release. Pre-registration campaigns ramped up with BRAVE FRONTIER LEGION, FIFA Rivals, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, and Empire Heroes opening their signups.

Meanwhile, Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra began its Network Test, and Sonic Blitz soft-launched in the Philippines. Sea of Remnants by NetEase was revealed for 2026, while mobile versions of HITMAN World of Assassination, Sniper Elite 5, and Final Fantasy XIV are officially on the way. Week 2: June 08 to June 14

Executive Summary

The second week of June 2025 brought in another wave of mobile gaming news. Noteworthy launches this week include Trail Blazer Racing and the Android release date for Roadman.

Pre-registration updates came in strong with Mecha BREAK, Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley, Happy Citizens, My Talking Tom Friends 2, and Chaos Zero Nightmare opening pre-registration in July. Newly revealed games like Aniimo, Blade & Soul Heroes, and Eat the Rich promise ambitious multi-platform experiences in the coming months and years.

Meanwhile, Apple revealed its new Games app launching this Fall, and Supercell announced regional pricing changes. On the content side, fans of Plants vs. Zombies can now look forward to a WEBTOON collaboration, while AlternaVvelt: Blue Exorcist AS and Boxville 2 prepare for late June launches.

Week 3: June 15 to June 21

Executive Summary

The third week of June brought a mixed bag of mobile launches, major announcements, and shutdown news. Notable releases include Mech vs. Aliens, Slayaway Camp 2, and Dark Spire Legends: Nightfall, while Chants of Sennaar and SNO: Snow White gear up for their upcoming launches.

Meanwhile, Mutazione and Mini Airways have gone global, as pre-registration highlights include StoneAge: Pet World and a dual release for Enter and Exit the Gungeon, both bringing popular genres to mobile.

Unfortunately, this week also confirmed the upcoming shutdowns of Black Clover M and Eversoul Japan, with service ending in August. On the tech side, Jio teamed up with KRAFTON to bring India’s first gaming pack featuring BGMI perks.

Other interesting highlights include HoYoverse opening a real-world themed café in Berlin, a quirky soup-hoarding game, and Fortnite’s Blitz Royale mode, tailored for quick mobile gameplay.

Week 4: June 22 to June 28

Executive Summary

The penultimate week of June saw some of the biggest mobile gaming releases, including Persona5: The Phantom X, Umamusume: Pretty Derby, Silver and Blood, and MARVEL Mystic Mayhem. Meanwhile, Disco Elysium prepares for its mobile debut this August, and Jetpack Joyride Racing, Road to Empress, and How 2 Escape: Lost Submarine have opened pre-registration.

However, this week also delivered unfortunate news, with DanMachi BATTLE CHRONICLE, Tower of God: Great Journey, and a large portion of Netflix Games content set to shut down or be removed soon. On the innovation front, Google Instant Games was launched, and COD Mobile teased an exciting collaboration with Gundam.

In India, KRAFTON unveiled a new esports initiative that could reshape the BGMI scene. The week also saw quirky additions like Goobie Garden, Hunt and Hook: Frontier, and Goat Simulator 3’s Multiverse DLC, which kept things fun and chaotic.

Week 5: June 29 to June 30

Executive Summary

The last two days have had a couple of news stories. StarSavior is gearing up for a limited test run in South Korea starting July 23. Meanwhile, Seal of Fate joins the party with its closed beta, as eFootball World Festival Tokyo 2025 revealed fresh details about its global football celebration.
