TEZ Free Fire Max India Cup: Schedule and Format

The event will first take pre-registrations. Then the next stages will come in. The tournament will run till the last week of September 2025. The detailed schedule is as follows:

PHASE DATE
In-Game Qualifiers 13th July
Online Qualifiers 26th July to 3rd August
League Stage 22nd August to 14th September
Grand Finals 27th to 28th September

The minimum rank and level required for registration of all team members is Diamond 1 and level 40. If a team wants to change the roster, the entire team must be disbanded. But if a team has already played a match, there’s no turning back. And, the common factor is that players cannot perform for several teams.

We will update the article once the teams are locked in.

Prize Pool

The prize pool is huge in terms of starting afresh. A total of ₹1 crore prize pool will be shared among the teams. However, most of the details are still to be shared by the organizers, so we don’t know the allocation of the money yet. But once we know the details, we will be putting up with each piece of information.

Final Thoughts

Free Fire is one of the top-ranked esports titles, putting up a concurrent performance over the past few years in the mobile esports scene. The game was banned in 2022, with the government citing security concerns as the issue. The game was taken down from respective stores along with 11 other games.

The title’s esports scene in India has been struggling since then, and the community shifted its interest to other titles. However, the recent surge in the Indian esports scene and unbanning the game opened a new path, resulting in the announcement of the game.
