Halfbrick Studios has opened pre-registration for their multiplayer racing title, Jetpack Joyride Racing, on both Android and iOS. The game was originally revealed in April 2025, along with a CBT on mobile. The App Store listing has pushed the launch date from June 20, 2025, to August 27, 2025.
Race, boost, and customize iconic characters in Jetpack Joyride Racing
If you’re still unaware, Jetpack Joyride Racing is a fast-paced, multiplayer racing title that is set in the fan-favorite Jetpack Joyride universe. You’ll be able to race as familiar faces like Barry Steakfries, Dan, Josie, and others, in real-time against 6 players, while taking advantage of dynamic racing zones.
I’m pretty hyped for this one, especially since the App Store now shows a new release date of August 27, replacing the previous June 20 listing. I’m looking forward to drifting through corners, hitting perfect boost, and winning. You can even unlock and customize ships, trails, and characters, which looks cool.
Plus, you can also team up with friends in Party Mode and race across four unique tracks. From high-tech labs to underwater circuits, each course comes with obstacles, shortcuts, and more. Overall, the game looks very fun with its competitive elements, smooth controls, customization, and more.
Jetpack Joyride Racing is now pre-registration on both Android and iOS. You can now pre-register for the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. According to the App Store’s listing, we can expect the game to launch on August 27, 2025.
