eFootball 2025 English League Season’s Best Pack review

The English League gets its spotlight in eFootball 2025 as KONAMI rolls out the Season’s Best pack, featuring some of the league’s standout performers. This time, the trio includes Mohamed Salah, Gabriel Magalhães, and Ryan Gravenberch.

This release feels like a well-balanced pack, offering a lethal winger, a solid CB option, and a flexible midfielder. But with limited slots in your squad, who delivers the most value? Let’s dive into the stats, playstyles, and team fit of each player to help you decide the best pick from the pack.

This is a 150-player pack, and all three get a Show Time skill. Salah arrives as a Big Time card, while the other two are Show Time.

Mohamed Salah

• Position: RMF
• Playing Style: Hole Player
• Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling

The Big Time Salah card was my target, and thankfully pulled him within a few tries. Salah as a Hole Player might feel different at first, but once you let him roam, the magic kicks in. He’s rapid and the kind of player that just slices through lines before defenders can react.

What stands out is how sharp he feels on the turn, that dribbling and balance are the best. His finishing feels reliable, might be left-foot exclusive, but surely is consistent. Add to that his curlers, and those are good too, but yes, matching his Blitz Curler card is quite difficult.

He’s not the strongest physically, so he can be nudged off at times, so maybe push those physical contact numbers closer to the 80s. This card thrives as a wide SS and is a strong competition for the top spot with the recently arrived Hazard. So give him a similar build. Give him space, and he becomes a menace.

Gabriel Magalhães

• Position: CB
• Playing Style: Destroyer
• Showtime Skill: Aerial Fort

This card is my favourite pick. Purely on stats, top 5 CBs in the game, and might be the top 3 in the Destroyer playstyle. I’ve used his POTW card before, which has the form booster, and boy, it is a solid card in itself, but this takes the notch higher.

Player ID-wise, Gabriel has been a superb card in eFootball 2025. In-game performance, he reads the game well and lunges in at the right time. You’ll love how dominant he is in the air, too, whether it’s defending set-pieces or going up during corners. That Aerial Fort is a good Show Time skill.

He’s not clunky either, feels quick enough to recover when the line is high. Even against pacey attackers, he can easily match up to them with his solid pace numbers. Weakness is only passing and balance stats, which isn’t very reflective on the pitch, so you can say a great pick.

Ryan Gravenberch

• Position: CMF
• Playing Style: Orchestrator
• Showtime Skill: Long-Range Tackle

Here’s Gravenberch as a Show Time, and to be honest, I have mixed feelings about this card. Well, there’s no denying that this Gravenberch card feels like a proper all-rounder you’d love having in the middle. He glides with the ball, spreads passes effortlessly, and can defend too.

There’s this calmness on the ball that makes him great under pressure, thanks to those great dribbling numbers, plus he can carry it forward without losing control. Passing is pretty too, of course, with the right build, goes to the 90s, so can be a playmaker as well.

And when he gets the chance, he’s got a decent long shot in him, too. The stamina is top-tier, so he’ll be on his feet all game. He got the DMF version, but my suggestion is to have him at CMF and build him that way; skills like Weighted Pass and Track Back, I feel, would fit him well.

As mentioned before, this pack brings a well-rounded trio, each shining in their way. But if we’re talking pure match-winners, Salah edges it. That card is pretty awesome stat-wise, and Hole Player Salah would run riot.
