How to beat the Crowning Glory Challenge

Clash of Clans has arrived with the Dark Days season this June 2025, and as per the events calendar, we see that there are a lot of things planned. As per the schedule, Challenge Level #2 in Clash of Clans has arrived with the Crowning Glory Challenge.

With this base kicking off the month’s festivities, there are a lot of strategies one can use to three-star this base. On the very note, let me share the easiest strategy one can use to three-star and complete the Crowning Glory Challenge in Clash of Clans.

Introducing the Crowning Glory Challenge in Clash of Clans

If you look at the base, nothing special. Everything looks scattered, and there’s the base looks easy to beat. But here’s where the twist is. The only troop you have is the Archer Queen, and you should use her to beat this base.

The rewards will be distributed like in previous challenges, you will receive extra resources along with 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Resource Potion. With the team continuing their usual approach, there don’t seem to be any plans to change this anytime soon.

How to beat the Crowning Glory Challenge in Clash of Clans

First, the base has two important gaps on the right and left sides that we’ll use to our advantage. Start by sending your Barbarian King into the right gap and immediately activate his ability to clear out defenses quickly. Use three Earthquake spells on the defenses there to break through walls.

Then, place two more earthquake spells near the center, just under the Clan Castle and Air Sweeper, to set up your Fireball ability for later. After the King destroys the Dark Elixir Storage, use your Recall spell to pull back your troops so you don’t accidentally trigger the defending Ice Golems.

Next, move over to the left side. Drop two Super Minions behind the blue wall near the Elixir Storage to chip away at it safely. At the bottom, place a regular Dragon under each Ricochet Cannon, followed by three Balloons spread between the storages.

Use your Overgrowth Spell on the Air Sweeper right above the town hall, then drop an Ice Hound, an Electro Dragon, and a Rage spell near the Tesla to help push through defenses. Keep an eye on the gold storage and send in your Archer Queen there, aiming to line up her shots to take out as many air defenses as possible.

Once the outside Tesla goes down, send in three balloons and bring in the Grand Warden right after the Queen takes out the Tesla. Press his Fireball ability on the Air Defense immediately. Then, release your Ice Hound and King to keep the pressure going.

For the final push, deploy your Clan Castle troops at the top, two Dragon Riders and the Minion Prince, and when the Prince reaches the town hall, activate his Freeze ability to halt its defenses. This combo should clear the rest of the base easily and secure your three stars.
