Savy Soda has announced that early access for their management and strategy MMORPG, Pixel Starships 2, will launch this Fall on Android, iOS, and PC. As a sequel to the popular title, the game will be available as a demo in Steam Next Fest from June 9 and is now open for pre-registration on mobile.
Prepare for a better, more customizable space adventure with epic wars
Pixel Starships 2 is an exciting blend of starship management, real-time strategy, and RPG gameplay. Building on fan-favorite elements of Pixel Starships, you’ll get to design, upgrade, and command your starship as this sequel expands ship-building limits and adds more customization options.
One of the things I’m most excited about is the new single-player campaign. You can explore multiple star systems packed with lore, make dynamic choices, and decide the galaxy’s fate. Whether you’re looking to join or lead a faction, take part in battles, or forge strategic alliances, you’re free to enjoy as you wish.
Take part in RTS battles or recruit and train your crew to operate the spaceship
I’m also eager to try its real-time tactical battles against players worldwide, mainly due to improved matchmaking and competitive rewards in PvP Arenas. That said, your ship isn’t the only thing you can work on, as you have to recruit and train a skilled crew, each with unique traits and skills to operate it.
This sequel looks so full of potential, offering a vast, procedurally generated galaxy, cross-galactic campaign, new weapons and game mechanics, next-gen pixel graphics from detailed pixel art 3D ships, characters to animations, alliances, and more.
Pixel Starships 2 is gearing up for early access launch in Fall 2025 on both Android and iOS. You can now pre-register for the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. If you can’t wait for the early access, you can try the demo at Steam Next Fest, which is set to begin on June 9.
