Fortnite is wrapping up Galactic Battle, a month long mini-season dedicated to Star Wars. If you’ve lapsed a bit as we settled into yet another week of blasters, then there’s a few updates which might tempt you back, including a batch of Fortnite Galactic Battle Twitch drops! These new items are going to be arriving through Twitch streams but there’s a unique feature to them.
Compared to your standard Twitch Drops, these new ones have some extra layers. Players will have to engage with a mini game if they want to unlock everything! They should be available on most of the best Fortnite streamers’ channels. The new Fortnite Galactic Battle Twitch Drops are a handful of items, this is how you can unlock them:

Fortnite Galactic Battle Twitch Drops Begin
Fortnite is launching a new Twitch extension, called Galactic Battle. Streamers on Twitch for Fortnite can opt into this event. When active, players can collect a series of five Star Wars sprays. However, they don’t drop for time watched like normal. Instead, Fortnite items will physically appear on the stream. You’ll have to click on them as they appear. As you do this, you’ll earn the sprays!
By connecting your Twitch and Epic accounts, you’ll also unlock another item. A Darth Jar Jar emoticon, to match the Fortnite skin recently released.

Another feature of the extension is a Takeover. A creator can steal items from another stream by doing this, where the chat will have to post emotes to stop it! A little game that can be played between participating streams. It will all add a bit more interactivity to the Galactic Battle Twitch Drops.

These collections will also contribute to a community goal. Once its hit, everyone who was involved will receive the Galactic War loading screen. It’s a loading screen of this season’s key art, so you’ll have seen it plenty logging in recently. Emotes and sprays might not be as exciting as the new Fortnite free skin available right now, but it’ll be worth picking them up if you’re a completionist this season!
