Outfit7 is back with another Green Game Jam initiative for its 2025 edition. After featuring Talking Tom Gold Run and My Talking Tom Friends in the 2024 edition, this time they’re bringing My Talking Hank: Islands into the mix with a fresh eco-update.
Experience an interactive Beach Clean-Up in My Talking Hank: Islands
The game now features a beach clean-up mini-game that ties right into this year’s theme, “Nurture Yourself with Nature.” Here’s how it works: You join Talking Hank and a friendly turtle as they stroll around the beach, picking up recyclable waste and sorting it into three bins.
It’s a simple but fun way to learn about recycling and keeping nature clean, while enjoying Hank’s colourful island world. Just like before, Outfit7 is teaming up with game studios around the world to integrate eco-themed content into live games for the Green Game Jam challenge.
But Outfit7 isn’t just sticking to the virtual side of things. They’re stepping up in real life, too. As part of their Giving Back initiative, the team will help restore a coastal youth centre in Slovenia.
They’re building a playground from recycled materials and cleaning up the area for local families. Employees will be pitching in, using volunteer time to make it happen.
