While you work through the different lives in Fantasy Life, whether that be solo or in Fantasy Life multiplayer, you’ll need Fantasy Life gift codes to make your life in the life sim game easier. They give you goodies that you won’t be able to get elsewhere.
How to change life in Fantasy Life
How you change your life in Fantasy Life depends on what you want to do: switch between unlocked lives, unlock or start a new life class, or simply jump from one to another temporarily. Here’s how the life change mechanic works:
If you want to manually switch to a Fantasy Life class you’ve unlocked, just open the Weird Pad and select the Life app. From there, select the class you want to switch to. You’ll notice a little person icon appear in the top-left corner of that class when you do.
Close the menu and you’ll change your Life class to the one you selected. You’ll also automatically equip the last (or default) gear set used on that class.
For crafting classes, you’ll also get the prompt to move to the nearest crafting bench, which is a neat little fast travel trick you won’t get through the usual Teleportation or Map screen.
If you want to switch between already unlocked life classes, to quickly chop a tree after a battle, just interact with the node or crafting bench that requires that class.
Just like how pressing one button to draw your sword when attacked will switch you from your current life class to your combat class, interacting with a rock, tree, fish, or crafting bench will automatically switch you to that class.
How do you change the default combat life class in Fantasy Life?
Your default combat class is whichever you used last. If you swap to Paladin and then to a crafting or gathering class, pressing the attack button will swap you back to Paladin. Use the Life screen to switch to another unlocked combat class before switching to another crafting or gathering class will make that combat class your new default.
How do I unlock a new class in Fantasy Life?
To unlock a new class, you need to speak to Aunt Anne in the Guild Office & Paladin Guild in Eternia Village in the Past.
You can get there quickly by opening the map, selecting the Past from the left, and scrolling all the way out. Zoom back into Eternia Village and select the Eternia Village fast travel icon to warp there in a hurry.
Note that you can’t start a new Fantasy Life class if you haven’t progressed to the Fledgling rank of the last class you started.
You can do that by following the class tutorial or skipping it by speaking to the master of that master before accepting the tutorial quest. You can teleport straight to them by selecting that Life on the Life menu in the Weird Pad and hitting the button for “Go to Life Master.”
How do you unlock the other Fantasy Life classes?
To unlock the Farmer and Artist classes, just follow the main story. They come one after the other. Pino unlocks the Farmer class after helping with the big vegetable situation in Chapter 4. Kikyo unlocks the Artist class shortly after in Chapter 5.
