Where to Get Mandalorian Jetpack in Fortnite

One of the new items is a much-needed addition, the Mandalorian Jetpack in Fortnite. It’s always nice to get a jetpack in the game but this season it’s especially special. So far, we’ve had a bit of a stripped-down season for mobility. There’s been shocks… but that’s about it. Since mobility is key to how a lot of players compete in modern Fortnite, this new Mandalorian Jetpack is going to be a key item.

Jetpacks have been around for a while in the game, but there is more than one form. This new Jetpack is an exact match of the one from Chapter 2 and older Fortnite seasons. It’s a bit more balanced than the C5 version, with its irritating boost system and immunity from fall damage. Given the tied down season we have though and the weapons ability to put out constant pressure, the Mandalorian Jetpack is a key item. How can you track it down in each game?

How to Get the Mandalorian Jetpack in Fortnite

The new Mandalorian Jetpack is a bit different from how the item worked last time. Last time it was a Mythic, but this time it’s available to everyone! You don’t need to track down a specific character or NPC location this season, you just need to look in the general loot pool.

There’s Mandalorian jetpacks all through the map, just in general chests and loot locations. You only need to open up enough chests. Eventually you’ll stumble on one. When it’s all RNG, it can be a little tricky. Sometimes you just won’t find one. However, other games you might stumble on four. It’s just a matter of luck.

How Does it Work?

The new Mandalorian Jetpack will be a little different if you’re used to the War Machine version that we got last year. It’s a bit trickier to use. It has the same principle of using the main use button to gain height. However, it doesn’t have the same boost system. You can’t just zip away from fire if you’re getting shot.

You also need to keep in mind that you’re not protected from fall damage just because you’re using it. If you let yourself drop, you die to fall. You have to remember to keep a little bit of juice left, so you can just float slightly right above the ground, meaning you won’t take any damage.

The Mandalorian Jetpack is still great for staying mobile, grabbing height, and taking different angles. It’s definitely going to be fun for getting Victory Royales in the last week of the season.
