The Street Fighter 6 EWC tournament will be a huge event. It’s not quite the Capcom Pro Tour, but outside of that year long competition, this is one of the most important tournaments. To get here, players have had to compete at events throughout the year and prove they’re among the best SF 6 players.

This year’s Esports World Cup promises to be huge and SF 6 is one of the biggest fighting games being featured. The winner here moves on to the final, the Capcom Cup, but they also take home a huge part of the $1,000,000 prize pool. What will the tournament look like and which players are confirmed for the event so far?

Street Fighter 6 EWC 2025

The Street Fighter 6 EWC 2025 event will be a fun mid-season finale for the game. While the Capcom Pro Tour still runs, the World Cup increasingly provides the stakes of a major season closer to multiple games. With a prize pool to match.

The tournament begins with a Group Stage. 12 groups of 4 players in a double elimination bracket. The winners move to the third stage, and the runner ups alone go to the second phase. That’s a 4 group, 3 player stage. Single round-robin, with the winners again moving one. The third part of the Group Stage is a single elimination bracket and final. No second chance bracket this time. Up for grabs is a total $1,000,000 and a slot at the Capcom Cup 11.
