PUBG Mobile 3.8 Bug Fixes

Titans Got Tweaked in Steampunk Frontier Mode

In the latest PUBG Mobile patch, the biggest buzz was all about Titans — those hulking war machines felt unbeatable inside buildings but a bit lackluster out in the open. To even things out, the devs dialed up their wind damage outdoors and toned it down when their attacks blast through walls.

  • Melee Wind Damage Raised (May 23): The wind damage from Titan’s melee attack is now a bit higher, so it can be more effective when out in the open field.
  • Damage Reduced Indoors (May 23): If Titan’s wind passes through walls or objects, now it does less damage, which gives players hiding behind cover or inside buildings a better chance to fight back.

These changes should make the fights more interesting and less one-sided, whether players are indoors or outdoors. For a closer look at what’s new in Classic Mode, check out our breakdown of the top additions to Classic Mode in PUBG Mobile 3.8 Update.

Game Bug Fixes Across Modes

The patch also included many bug fixes that were bothering players for a while. Steampunk Frontier

  • Parachute Bug Solved (May 20): There was a problem where sometimes players got stuck in the sky while parachuting – now it’s fixed.
  • Lobby Issue (May 20): Some players were getting thrown back to the lobby due to map files being corrupted, which now shouldn’t happen.
  • Loot Crate Freeze (May 20): The game freezing when players open loot crates is no longer happening.

World of Wonder

  • Pickups and Programming Blocks (May 17-20): Some blocks disappeared after the last version update, and items weren’t pickable if dropped by a player-these bugs are fixed.
  • Titan Serum Now Visible (May 20): The Titan Serum now shows up properly in the consumables slot.

Metro Royale

  • Clothing Transparency (May 20): Characters wearing certain vests became see-through. That issue got patched.

Other Fixes

  • Achievement Not Showing (May 20): Vanguard Explorer achievement is now visible again.
  • X-Suit Glider Rule (May 16): Players no longer need a fully maxed-out X-Suit just to get a glider or use the summon platform in Spawn Island or Cheer Park.

Unresolved Issue

The team also said they’re aware of a problem with the Steamclad Racer – UAZ not appearing in Collections. That one is still being looked into and should be addressed in a future update. This PUBG Mobile patch update shows devs are listening and reacting to players’ problems. More changes might come soon, so it’s good to keep an eye out for any new updates or announcements.
