AFK Journey ‘Echoes of Dissent’ Season Update: All details revealed
This season kicks off with the plot in the depths of Esperia. This time, you’ll head underground to investigate rising tensions in the Dwarven lands, following Merlin to Brimstone Village and beyond.
As you unravel the truth behind a strange curse haunting the Essail Clan, you’ll find that there’s more than just dwarves being affected.
Two New Heroes: Zanie and Indris
The new season introduces two powerful characters to the AFK Journey roster. Zanie, a Dwarven hero, and Indris, captain of the Sal’thorin Guard, who is known as the Chain Breaker and excels in frontline combat.
New Map Arrives
The new season expands the world of Esperia with two new areas: Brimstone Village and the Kingdom of Sal’thorin. These underground zones are filled with lore-rich environments and story content focused on the mysterious curse affecting the Essail Clan.
New Game Mode: Sunlit Showdown
The update introduces Sunlit Showdown, a 1v1 elimination tournament that pushes your strategy skills. In this mode, you won’t carry over progress between rounds, every battle is new. There are three difficulty tiers and up to six rounds to complete, with rewards and loot awarded as you climb the ranks.
To access the Echoes of Dissent season, you must reach Level 240 with your Hands of Resonance and complete the New Journey questline. Once these requirements are met, a new quest will appear in Holistone, guiding you into the season region and kicking off the storyline.
