VR rhythm game Synth Riders, created by Kluge Interactive, has announced a new music pack, called the 90s Rock Music Pack. The content pack includes five 90s rock songs from rock, britpop and grunge artists for the game. The DLC is available for Meta Quest, PlayStation VR2 and Steam VR.
The pack includes five iconic songs of the era: Give It Away by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Song 2 by Blur, Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden, ” Creep ” by Radiohead, and Lump by Presidents of the USA. The bundle costs $7.99, and each song costs $1.99.

Synth Riders is one of the oldest VR rhythm games around, first launched in 2018 to critical acclaim. Since then, the game has steadily updated its roster of songs to include contemporary hits and world-famous songs alike. The game currently has more than 150 total songs (including base game and DLC). The game itself combines rhythm, dance and physical elements and requires players to hit required notes in real time, similar in spirit to the likes of Guitar Hero or Rock Band.
Synth Riders requires players to be physically active and move their arms and legs in rhythm to hit different types of notes that appear around them.
The game’s developers, Kluge Interactive, launched two song packs this year. The 80s mixtape includes hits by Queen, Toto, and Wham, and Current Waves includes current hits such as Apple by Charli xcx.
