mobirix, known for Dungeon&Evil Hunter, Meow Rangers, and more, has announced their upcoming match-3 puzzle title, Merge Cat Town, with pre-registration now open on Android and iOS. According to the App Store’s listing, the game is expected to launch on October 7, 2025.

Get ready to transform a deserted island to a cat haven in Merge Cat Town

Merge Cat Town is a cat-themed match-3 puzzle title set on a deserted island that you’ll gradually transform into a thriving cat island. Your objective is to pull items from the magic toolbox, merge similar ones to create what the cats demand, and slowly build a cozy island for your adorable feline friends.

As a cat lover, I get excited really quickly when it comes to cat-themed titles, and this one is no exception. What’s better is that it’s quite easy to pick up, merging plants and animals, synthesizing them, and selling them to the feline characters.

You can do construction, expand your cat village, enjoy the story, and more

As you level up, you’ll unlock the ability to construct various buildings and expand your cat village. But what really has me intrigued is the storyline. You’ll get to experience a full storyline told through episodes. It also has a similar aesthetic to the Cats & Soup and its spin-off, Cats & Soup: Magic Recipe.

With its charming visuals, cozy merging gameplay, engaging story, various events like Whisker’s Mission, and plenty of stuff to do, from constructing to decorating, the game looks fun. While I’m eager to try it out, if the App Store listing is correct, we’ll have to wait until October 10, which is a long time.
