Vitality win fifth CS2 event in a row at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025

BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 is at end, and yes, Vitality won again. We’re witnessing what can only be described as a Counter-Strike era, with Vitality collecting their fifth consecutive trophy of the year. ZywOo, apEX, mezii, flameZ, and ropz. Remember the names – they’re rewriting CS history with every match at the moment.

Vitality never phased despite another 3:2 Final

At 3:2, you could be tricked into thinking Vitality were phased during the Final of BLAST Rivals Spring 2025. In truth, this was arguably the most comfortable they’ve looked in a Grand Final of late, with all their winning maps coming through in a relatively straightforward manner. Personally, I thought teams were slowly catching up to Vitality at the top, but on this evidence, they’ve got what it takes to continue their 25-game winning streak and five-tournament streak for some time to come.

After IEM Melbourne, it certainly felt as though Falcons had what it takes to be the team that puts a stop to this Vitality machine. Taking two maps off them is impressive, but they need that extra 1% to eventually get over the line. It goes to show that they just aren’t the finished product yet.

ZywOo and ropz are establishing themselves as one of the great Counter-Strike duos

With both ZywOo and ropz achieving a 1.30 rating and dropping 90 and 91 kills respectively, it’s clear that these two have just clicked right off the bat. With five trophies under their belt, they’re already one of the most accomplished duos in Counter-Strike, rivalling those in years gone by.

Given Vitality’s current form, there’s absolutely no reason to suggest they won’t have even more silverware to celebrate together. Should they keep up this absurd level through the rest of the year, I reckon we’ll be speaking of them as one of the best ever Counter-Strike duos.
