Odin: Valhalla Rising is a multiplayer role-playing game developed by the Kakao Games Corp. The game draws heavily from Norse mythology, featuring realms like Midgard, Jotunheim, and Alfheim. There are character classes, each with unique skills and playstyles. The character classes serve as one of the important aspects of the game as you pose as one of them during combats.

Odin: Valhalla Rising Character Class Tier List
The game comes with four classes for you to roleplay, as in Odin: Valhalla Rising, which are further divided into three Tiers: S, A, and B. Each of the classes has two avatars that give them an extra set of skills to excel in combat.

Let us know in detail about all the classes of the characters you can create within the game:~
1. Sorceress
The Sorceress class would be the most powerful among all the classes present in the game, according to me. It further has two avatars, namely Archmage and Dark Wizard. This class has extremely high damage output with area-of-effect(AoE) and ranged spells.
The Sorceress can eliminate a group of enemies quickly from a distance. She has a low defence and HP, and can become vulnerable if enemies come close in distance. When played well, the Sorceress can end battles before they even begin.
She has great crowd control and uses measures to ensure the same. In the Dark Wizard avatar, she even summons a dragon with a toxic breath that poisons the enemy and restores the character’s HP.
2. Warrior
The Warrior class is the next best character class for you. He has high single-target and AoE melee damage. The Warrior class has two avatars that include Defender and Berserker. Warriors are durable, great for sustained battles.
However, they lack range and mobility compared to other classes. This class has excellent defence and Ally Protection, and the crowd control is also decent. After a successful Shield Block, he strikes the enemy with your shield and stuns them. He also pulls nearby enemies with chains, increasing Hate and taunting enemies.
3. Rogue
Rogue is the class that is often squishy and relies on evasion or stealth. The avatars of this class include Sniper and Assassin. She particularly deals high burst damage and strong criticals. Rogues are excellent at taking out enemies quickly, especially in stealth or with mobility.
She attacks the enemies with arrows, restoring your HP for part of the damage dealt. The character also sets a trap that explodes after a delay with a chance of stunning affected targets. Since Rogues are less forgiving and situational in their effectiveness compared to Sorceresses and Warriors, they’ve been placed below them.
4. Priest
The Priests are like sages in power and deal low damage to the enemies. The Priest also has two avatars, as I stated before, and those are, namely, Saint and Paladin. This class has high efficiency as a support role, but is not effective alone in combat.
She mostly heals, buffs, removes debuffs, and keeps her supporting party alive. The Ally Protection is high with good crowd control and defence.
She attacks an enemy with a divine flame, dealing damage in an area and randomly removing 1 buff from the targets. One of the other powers includes summoning the World Tree to attack enemies and heal the HP of allies over time.
How to change your Class in Odin: Valhalla Rising
Comply with the following steps to change your character class in the game easily:
- Firstly, you need to create a character from four given options of the classes.
- There is no choice of gender, and everything is mostly predefined.
- You can customise the character according to your preference.
- After making changes to their appearances as you prefer, click on Create character
- Then, type down a name for your character.
Now, the real question is how do we change or switch between different classes within the game?
- You can create a maximum of five characters to roleplay as. They can all be different classes or repeated.
- You’ll be able to see all the characters and their levels so far created after launching the game.
- Just select a role to switch between different classes.
- Then, click on Play to begin from where you left off.
You can also change between the classes while playing. For that follow these simple steps:
- Click on the menu icon on the top right corner of the game screen.
- Then, choose the Change option from the bottommost column.
- You’ll be redirected to the character selection screen at the beginning of Odin: Valhalla Rising.
- According to the character class you choose, respective skills will be accessible for use initially.
- The bound ones will unlock as you progress in storyline quests.
