Vitality have matched the second-highest win streak in Counter-Strike esports as they beat MOUZ by 2-1 this Thursday, May 1, at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025. Thanks to this 2-1 victory in the upper bracket of group A, Vitality have reached 23 consecutive championships on LAN— the same that Team Liquid achieved in 2019, the year they won the Intel Grand Slam.

It doesn’t get much better than this for Vitality as the highest win streak belongs to Ninjas in Pajamas.NIP won 60 series in a row between 2012 and 2013, at the beginning of CS:GO’s life cycle. It’s practically impossible for any modern CS2 team to reach the heights of that dominant NIP roster because the scene is much more competitive nowadays.
Vitality can set a new win streak record this weekend
Vitality already won IEM Katowice , ESL Pro League Season 21, BLAST Open Lisbon.
The European powerhouse will have the chance to surpass Liquid’s record on Saturday, May 3, in the semifinals of BLAST Rivals Spring 2025.
With Vitality winning IEM Melbourne this year, after adding the Estonian superstar Robin “ropz” Kool to the lineup, and are in a good spot to add one more trophy to their cabinet.
There were question marks surrounding Vitality’s chances at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 because Vitality had to fly all the way from Australia to attend the event in Copenhagen while recovering from the hangover of securing the ESL Grand Slam.
But, if anything, this victory against MOUZ proves that Vitality want to go beyond and keep extending their win streak. If they keep this level of play, they can also match Astralis’ 19-0 record on Inferno, as they only need to win on the map three more times.
Vitality will have plenty of time to prepare for their next match as they’ll skip the BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 quarterfinals thanks to their victory over MOUZ.
