Lessons in Defeat – OG’s 2024/25 Season Documentary
Lessons in Defeat premiers on May 1 at 2:00PM CEST, and you can watch it by going to OG’s YouTube channel.
Everyone who’s been following OG’s journey in the last two years won’t be surprised by the documentary’s title. It’s safe to say that OG has not lived up to expectations and are just a mere shadow of its former self. The squad has not won any big tournament in more than 3 years. What’s more, it can’t even qualify for many of the Tier 1 competitions.
A quick look at OG’s most recent results review shows that the team competes in different Tier 2 events, such as FISSURE Special. Sadly, the squad does not have much luck even there and has lost multiple.
The last big victory for OG was at ESL One Malaysia 2022, which was when the team had the likes of Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov and Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev.
OG.LATAM – The Saving Grace?
Recently, OG decided to add a new roster to its organization called OG.LATAM. The new team consists of several top-tier South American Dota 2 players, and it definitely looks promising on paper. However, we will have to wait and see whether the new roster will live up to the expectations. Keep in mind that OG.LATAM will not replace OG’s WEU roster, which means that the organization will compete in both Europe and South America.
