Fortnite x Andromeda Skin Arrives in Item Shop
All you have to do is go to the Item Shop, either in the game or online. Despite its introduction to the game, it is now available in the Fortnite Item shop, though that won’t be true forever. It will eventually go away, but it’s available there now.
This is only possible because Fortnite has, by and large, removed exclusivity in all items. Everything that came out after Chapter 5 Season 4 is pretty much not going to go away permanently. Battle pass Fortnite skins land in the Item Shop eventually. Festival skins do, too. There’s nothing now that can’t come back at some point, even if it was previously exclusive in some way.
Previously, the only way to obtain the Fortnite Andromeda skin was to play on an Android device. Much like the Galaxy skin from the past, this skin was tied to Samsung devices. You had to play the game on a Samsung device at least twice, once between Dec. 3, 2022, and August 16, 2024, and between Aug. 17, 2024, and September 15th, 2024. If you did that on your account, you’d get the skin for free.
Now, it’s available in the Item Shop. It’s as easy to obtain as any other skin in the game. You will need at least 1,500 V-Bucks. That’s for the skin itself, but there’s also a bundle for 2,000 V-Bucks. This comes with the Andromeda skin (and LEGO style), Starforged Blades, which is both the pickaxe and the back bling, and the Galactic Turquoise weapon wrap. It will save money overall to purchase the bundle.
