Is MOUZ Quietly Building a Dota 2 Powerhouse?

Since Dota 2 is one of the oldest Esports, it’s no surprise that some organizations have been around for some time, so when a new name appears, people take notice. MOUZ (formerly MOUSESPORTS) is not the first name that comes to mind when discussing Dota 2 organizations, but this may soon change. It seems like MOUZ is slowly but steadily building a top-tier Dota 2 roster.

Here’s how MOUZ might be building a powerhouse Dota 2 team under everyone’s noses:

Is MOUZ Quietly Building a Dota 2 Powerhouse? – The Latest Signing

Just a few days after Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp announced his departure from Gaimin Gladiators, the player decided to start a new chapter in his career. After spending many years with his former club, Seleri became a part of MOUZ.

What’s interesting is that Seleri did not join MOUZ’s pre-build roster. Instead, he seems to be the leading player in it, and the organization is about to create a roster around him. Nikko “Force” Bilocura is the only player who was a part of MOUZ before Seleri’s arrival (aside from ImmortalFaith, the club’s coach). These two have been a part of MOUZ for over one year.

No one knows who will be the remaining three players, but by the looks of it, MOUZ will sign some big names. The fact that they managed to bring Seleri on board is a sign that the organization has an ambitious plan for the future.

MOUZ Is An EWC Partner Club

Another reason MOUZ is on the verge of building a Dota 2 powerhouse is the Esports World Cup. Following the latest announcement, the organization seems to be part of the EWC Club Partner Program 2025.

Since MOUZ is an EWC Partner Club, it will receive a lot of money, which will allow it to grow and potentially, bring top-tier Dota 2 players onboard. It’s also likely that Partner Club status will help them secure a slot for the Esports World Cup 2025.

The International 2025 Will Take Place In Hamburg, MOUZ’s Home Town

If you follow MOUZ’s social media profiles, you know that the organization aims to reach The International 2025. Considering that TI14 will be in Hamburg, MOUZ’s home town, the team will have even more motivation to come up with a powerful Dota 2 roster. Having the home team crowd advantage can make a huge difference – even if MOUZ will have to make it to the final stages of TI14 to experience the home-town fans.

We expect an exciting couple of months around MOUZ and all other top-tier Dota 2 teams. The International 2025 is slowly approaching, so we will definitely see many changes, upsets, and surprises. And if you’re looking for a longshot Dota 2 bet on the TI14 winner, we think MOUZ is worth a punt.
