Exabyte Games, an indie studio, has announced that their survival strategy base-builder title, Final Outpost: Definitive Edition, will launch on Android, iOS, and PC on May 22, 2025. It release expands on the classic Final Outpost experience, which recently got a fresh upgrade with version 1.5 Defence Update.
Expand, evolve, and endure in a world teeming with Zombies
Final Outpost: Definitive Edition is a survival strategy base-builder that takes the classic Final Outpost experience to the next level. In this game, you will lead the last group of apocalypse survivors, assign them jobs, craft tools, manage resources, and defend your town against waves of zombie attacks.
Built on the foundation of the original title, this edition lets you assign over 10 unique job roles to your citizens and upgrade their skills to be better at defending, gathering, and repairing. As the deer population outside the walls starts to fade, you can start farming to keep your citizens fed.
This definitive edition looks promising, now adding a trading system, difficulty modes, a new building, a map, and a motorhome, over 12 building types, simulated weather and seasons, and more. I am especially eager to take out 5+ zombie types using machine guns, and more, and also check out the game’s own OST.
