Fortnite Rocket Ram and Business Turret Unvaulted

The latest update brought back two old favorite items, the Fortnite Rocket Ram and Business Turret. These are two items that have been hinted at since the season began, but they’re only just back in the game for the closing few weeks. What’s more, there’s been a pretty substantial change to the item from what we remember.

These two alterations to the Fortnite weapons for the season should make things interesting. Although, with the change, the Rocket Ram is going to be substantially less useful. Especially given that there’s a different version of the item already in the loot pool. This is what’s changed and how the weapons will be different.

Fortnite Rocket Ram and Business Turret Return with Changes

The new Fortnite Rocket Ram and Business Turret update is live, but players will notice a bit of a change to one of the items. The Rocket Ram now has a major limitation. It can only be used ten times, which significantly limits how useful it is.

The Rocket Drill has been a part of the loot pool for most of the season. Functionally it pretty much works the same as the Ram, but with durability and the option to cancel out of it. The Rocket Drill is a more open Rocket Ram, so now the original is back, why use it? The Ram’s new negative follows last season’s unvaulting of the Kinetic Blade, which again added an unneeded drawback.

The business turret on the other hand is pretty much unchanged! In Zero Builds it’s a pretty effective item, but Builds it’s mainly just there for light pressure. Both items will have their fans now that they’re back though.

Where are the Business Turret and Rocket Ram?

Both of the new items are back in the general loot pool. Players can find them from random chests! The Heist bags are in this season, but unlike Chapter 4 these two items aren’t included in those. You’ll have to pick them up from normal chests instead. It’s a bit of a crowded loot pool right now, but players can find both in normal loot locations.
