Fortnite TMNT Creative Tools and Roguelike Launch

A big new collab is arriving this week, there’s the normal elements but also Fortnite TMNT Creative expansion. The headline of the new addition might be the three new skins. However, the other parts of this collab look set to provide endless gameplay across the platform. It’s not just Fortnite included either, there’s also Rocket League getting a new LTM too.

This new Fortnite TMNT collaboration is coming in a few parts. We’ve already seen the major new skins coming in the last Fortnite patch notes, but the other inclusions look quite interesting too. These are the big additions to Fortnite and Rocket League:

With the latest update, a new feature that’s been rumoured for a while has arrived. Full creative support for all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles content. Fortnite Creative has tons of tools for players but for a long time, Fortnite collabs weren’t included. Thanks to rights issues these items are often removed from the map makers. However, the TMNT weapons and content from the Chapter 5 crossover are coming.

This means players will be able to use the weapons, but also the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters. There are a few features everyone can check out, the Dimension X Starter Island to provide a template for TMNT content. Along with the Technodrome prefab.

As an example of the bigger things available with these new UEFN tools, a roguelike is going to be playable.

TMNT Dimensions 2

A new roguelike game is coming made with the TMNT Creative tools. It’s an entire game made to play in Fortnite. Developed by Spiral House, this official map will give you a solid look at how far the tools can go! It’s a full roguelike with never-ending gameplay. Players can definitely spend a lot of time in here before they see everything it has to offer.

The part of the Fortnite TMNT Creative expansion that’s had months of speculation from Fortnite leakers, the new skins. A handful of further characters are coming along with a new car. This update includes Casey Jones, maybe the biggest omission from the last Turtles wave. Then there’s a few iconic villains from the series. Bebop, Rocksteady, and Krang are all coming to Fortnite.

Like the other skins in the series these are fun designs which take heavy inspiration from the various versions of the characters, but with a unique Fortnite skin twist on them.

It isn’t just Fortnite in this collab, Epic’s other major title Rocket League will have a major update too. A new LTM will be coming to the game from Thursday May 1st. It’s a 4v4 LTM, called Pizza Party.

Players can’t jump in the LTM, instead they need to utilize grappling hooks to move around. There’s a double goal, and the ball has also been replaced with a pepperoni Pizza! It’s an interesting twist on classic Rocket League, with that visual Ninja Turtles style to it as well.

With the biggest part of the collab being the UEFN Fortnite Creative tools, there’s potential for a lot of fun new content to be made by players. We’ll have to give map makers some time to play around with the new tools before we see anything big though.
