eFootball 2025 ‘The Art of Passing’ April 2025 Nominating Contract Review

eFootball 2025 Art of Passing NC

  • eFootball 2025 brings in ‘The Art of Passing’ Nominating Contract this April 2025.
  • The pack includes decent options like Ederson, Grimaldo, and Kane.

eFootball 2025 brings another themed Nominating Contract this April 2025, titled ‘The Art of Passing’. This pack focuses on players who dictate the rhythm of the game with their passing abilities, and this just does not include midfielders, but we have forwards and a goalkeeper too.

While this isn’t a pack stacked with meta-breaking monsters, it still has some intriguing cards, especially if you enjoy playing possession-heavy gameplay. So, let’s dissect this list and see who’s worth a contract from your NC collection.

Harry Kane

  • Position: CF
  • Playstyle: Deep-Lying Forward

Alright, this is a fun one. It’s not every day you get a deep-lying Kane card that has usable pace. Although not super high, being decent on the ball helps. Apart from this and a low balance, this card basically has no flaws.

His positioning, hold-up play, and that sweet finishing combined are a beastly card numbers. Drop him a little deeper, and he’ll play those one-touch passes to onrushing wingers like a pro. He’s also great for flicks and layoffs, very usable if you build around him.

Ederson Moraes

  • Position: GK
  • Playstyle: Offensive Goalkeeper

You can’t talk about passing without giving love to a ball-playing keeper, and Ederson is the blueprint. This card is as modern as they come, quick off his line and great with his feet in lobbing the ball to the forwards for a quick counter.

This guy was my first pick from the pack, and I can say he didn’t disappoint. I felt he could see an improvement in near-post shots, but I felt he reacted more slowly to it. Maybe because I improved his reflexes at the cost of goalkeeping.

Hakan Calhanoglu

  • Position: CMF
  • Playstyle: Orchestrator

Out of my three picks, this one actually impressed me. Hakan fits the orchestrator tag perfectly, someone who slows down the tempo, keeps possession, and pings beautiful through balls. Think of him as that deep-lying creator who can also take a deadly set-piece.

I tried him in a possession-based build, and he was butter smooth, especially in those short central passes and switches to the wing. Another aspect I like about this card is that he can play almost everywhere. I would still prefer him at CMF, keeping the passing high, my suggestion.

Alejandro Grimaldo

  • Position: LB
  • Playstyle: Full-back Finisher

The third and final pick of mine. This is one of those cards you won’t expect to love until you actually try him. Grimaldo is that classic attacking full-back with a ton of engine. Since he is short, he is nice to control and turn around, and with that pace, he can burst forward.

When I was building this card, I actually felt he was being wasted at LB. If KONAMI slapped him with a Cross Specialist, that would have made him a deadly card. Still, I’m using his LMF build, feels much better as a supporting wide midfielder.

Junya Ito

  • Position: RWF
  • Playstyle: Prolific Winger

Okay, I felt the card wasn’t that impressive, looking at the stats, but maybe players who pick him will love it. Good pace, dribbling skills, backed up by creator ability with those passing numbers. He’s a bit light physically, too, so not my type of winger. Can be a good super sub though.

Jan Paul van Hecke

  • Position: CB
  • Playstyle: Build Up

Good defender if you play Possession, but high line is suicidal with this card in the back, given that pace stats, doesn’t improve much. He lacks defending skills, too, so you would need to give him tokens, which I feel isn’t worth it. In the DMF build, I felt he was useful a little.

Well, after analysing all the cards from the pack, here are my rankings of the six cards.

TierPlayers
SSS (Overpowered)None
S (Strong)Harry Kane, Ederson
A (Good)Calhanoglu, Grimaldo
B (Average)Ito
C (Below Average)van Hecke

This pack is way better than the March NC pack, really good picks and starter cards too. You can’t go wrong with any of the first four picks, so my suggestion is to use your NCs here.
