Dunali Games has announced the soft launch of their strategy-driven puzzle title, Rookie Tales, now available on Android in India. Developed under the mentorship of KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator, the game has already gained recognition at top game developer events across the USA, Europe, and India.

Rookie Tales is a chess-inspired strategy adventure title that blends classic board game mechanics with real-time action. In this game, you play as Rook, a brave yet inexperienced hero, navigating grid-based movement, building decks, and battling bosses to restore the honour of the fallen Kingdom in Peril.
To me, what sets this game apart is its real-time gameplay; there is no turn-based action here. Both your and your enemies’ pieces move simultaneously, meaning you can be attacked even when you are making your next move. You have to make strategic decisions on the fly.
I like the challenge the game presents, dodging deadly traps, strategic obstacles, and using power-ups like Tile Breakers, Decoys, and Traps to outplay your enemies. Plus, you can even equip crossbows, spike tiles, and blades to gain more advantage.
