A World of Warcraft Classic fan recently shared a custom-made map of the Scarlet Enclave, the brand-new raid coming to Season of Discovery in Phase 8. This incredible map will serve as a fantastic tool for players trying to tackle the instance, as it likely won’t have an official in-game counterpart once the raid arrives in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery on April 10.
Phase 8 of World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery is officially live, bringing the first update full of entirely original content to the experimental servers. On April 10, the brand-new Scarlet Enclave raid opens, offering an eight-boss instance tuned for 20 to 40 heroes as they strike back against the Scarlet Crusade.

Evidence suggests World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery Phase 8 may be its final update – though that doesn’t mean the servers will close.
To help fans navigate this sprawling raid, one World of Warcraft player has created some stunningly authentic maps of the instance. Made by famous World of Warcraft fan mapmaker Santiago Reyes with support from Keystone.guru and Wotuu, these works of art render both major sections of the Scarlet Enclave outdoor regions and the interior of the Cathedral and Avalon Monastery. The artist shared these works, which were based on information from the Public Test Realm and replicated the style used for in-game areas and raids, on Reddit ahead of the raid’s release.

Notably, the boss encounter locations Reyes placed around the map of the Scarlet Enclave from World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery are not technically official; the artist placed them based on extrapolations from datamining and context clues from the known encounters. Once the raid is released, these maps, along with accurate boss locations and any updates made to the zone layout for release, will be found on Keystone.guru to help would-be raiders tackle the instance.
This is far from the first map Reyes has made. The artist is one of a handful of cartographers known for creating World of Warcraft-style maps of real-life locations – Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Canada, and the United States being just some of the countries Reyes rendered in this way. What’s more, Reyes also made a helpful map of the labyrinthine Karazhan Crypts dungeon from WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 7.
Needless to say, Reyes’ fellow players were floored by the attention to detail placed into these maps and were shocked to find out that they weren’t official. Season of Discovery-original instances have not historically received official in-game maps, so these stunning pieces of fan art will be great tools for raiders as they seek to bring down the Scarlet Enclave.
