If we’re narrowing down the best Brawlhalla player, the first name that leaps to mind or a lot of people is probably Sandstorm.
They’re one of the most successful players in Brawlhalla esports, with tons of achievements to their name that no one else has ever managed. Sandstorm has had two different runs in the game, first competing in 2018-19 and then since 2021, back at it.
Their big run of fantastic weapons has mainly come regionally. Including winning week after week of the North American Trial of Frigg events in 2024. They’re had plenty of big results at major events too, like DreamHack and the seasonal Championships. Sandstorm’s achievements in BCX Singles have particularly been record breaking, with back-to-back wins setting a huge record for the game.
Sandstorm’s performance in recent events might not be quite as high. However, his history in the game has made him a clear pick for the best Brawlhalla player.

Looking at the best Brawlhalla player in 2025, yüz is popular answer. They’re currently the World Champion, having won the last Brawlhalla World Championship in 2024. We can’t just consider recent events, but looking at them they’re the stand out. Yüz has had a very strong run over recent years.
At the 2024 World Championship, yüz had an incredible run through the bracket. They beat BalloonBoy in the first round 3-0, before getting knocked back down in the upper bracket final against Kyma. After winning the lower bracket final though, they had a shot at redemption. Coming against Kyna again, the game was either an incredible reversal, or a stomp, depending on your point of view! Yüz won 3-0, after the bracket reset they again won 3-0. A massive win to become the new World Champion.
They’ve not slowed down in 2025 either. Yüz has taken his first win already, coming in first at the Winter Championship for South America. They’re off to a fantastic start and it could mean we’re in for a real challenger to that title of best Brawlhalla player.
Those are our two picks at the moment for the best Brawlhalla player. There’s the established player, with a long history of being held up at the top of the game. But also, the newer Champion, beginning what could be a long run in the game.
