After receiving universal praise in its release, the Spy x Family manga didn’t take too long to receive its own anime adaptation. The misadventures of the Forger family are some of the funniest yet sweetest things you can watch, thanks to the fantastic antics of the spy Loid, the assassin Yor, and the small mind-reader Anya.
The animated series has been going on since 2022 and has eventually found its way to different streaming services, counting with a whole original movie and multiple seasons (with more on the way). Fortunately, you have plenty of options for where to watch it.
How Many Seasons Of Spy X Family Are There?
As of now, there’s a total of two seasons of Spy X Family available for watching. A third season is scheduled for release in October 2025, covering more of Tatsuya Endo’s original works. There’s also a movie based on an original story not included in the manga. Here’s a full list of the available episodes.
Seasons |
Episodes |
---|---|
1 |
24 |
2 |
12 |
The first season is split into two parts, and both are included in all available services. It’s still unclear how many episodes will be included during the third Season, but fans can expect a minimum of 12, as this is the usual number for new seasons. There’s also a movie available, based on an original story written by the author.
Where To Stream Spy X Family
You can find Spy X Family on the following streaming services.
Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll is your go-to place for everything anime, and it is no different with Spy X Family. All seasons are included on the streaming service, and you can expect any upcoming new episodes or specials to arrive there as soon as they drop.
The first two seasons are available completely for free (with ads) in either dubbed or subbed versions, but subscriptions start at $7.99 USD and offer better video quality. Alternatively, you can use your free one-week Premium Trial if you want to experience this (and maybe more) series at the best quality possible.
Crunchyroll is known for not having the most user-friendly video player, so be ready for some minor issues while watching.
Hulu
If you want an alternative to Crunchyroll, Hulu is your only choice. It also offers all episodes in both dub or sub, but the lowest-tier subscription has a saltier price of $9.99 USD, making it a worse choice if you’re not a subscriber already.
While Hulu does have free trial options, which also give you access to more streaming services, none of them remove ads from your experience. Paying more just to get a better player isn’t worth it if you’re just trying to watch the series.
If you’re outside the US, other services like Netflix and Apple TV may have the series available, depending on your location. English subtitles might not be available, though.
Where To Watch Spy X Family Code White
The series’ original movie is licensed by Crunchyroll, and it’s available exclusively on it. It aired in theaters on April 19, 2024, and has been available for streaming ever since September 5 of the same year, both in subbed and dubbed versions.
Since it has all other seasons for the best price, while also being the only place to include the movie, Crunchyroll is the definitive best place to watch the series by a mile. You’ll also get access to many other anime series you may enjoy, so that’s a plus.
