Arcane Signet – 1919

Secret Lair Drop Series – $30.29

The Magic The Gathering card Arcane Signet foil by Trashkittyart.

Look at this absolutely delightful Secret Lair card. Featuring one of the cutest kitties to ever grace Magic: The Gathering, this Arcane Signet is a must-have for anyone with a Cat-themed deck, or really anyone who loves cats in general.

A more valuable version of this card comes later in this list, but that doesn’t mean that this card isn’t highly treasured among collectors. Though the 2025 Secret Lair Cats Are Better Than Dogs is no longer available, you can still pick up one of these cards on the secondary market.

Arcane Signet – 1641 Rainbow Foil

Secret Lair Drop Series – $34.05

The Magic The Gathering card Arcane Signet by Rovina Cai.

A special Arcane Signet from the Artists Series: Rovina Cai came from the Equinox Superdrop 2024 collection. Illustrator Rovina Cai themed this drop around the symbolism of tarot cards, with each card referencing a different aspect of the arcana.

The Arcane Signet represents the Coins and features a hand with the classic Arcane Signet iconography from the original artwork but in a more ethereal approach. The framing of the card is a huge departure from the traditional Magic card, making it a rarity among even Secret Lair cards.

Arcane Signet – 1492

Secret Lair Drop Series – $37.73

The Magic The Gathering card Arcane Signet by Dani Pendergast.

The first of two Arcane Signets from the Through the Wormhole Secret Lair, this Arcane Signet is a glimpse into Magic’s distant future, where characters are exploring the depths of space.

The flavor text for the card evokes the terror of the unknown depths of space, with the skeleton being as old as the dawn of the universe, and paradoxically, the ring being even older. The rest of the Secret Lair is filled with stunning views from outer space, but the Signet is hands down the best.

Arcane Signet – 1919 Rainbow Foil

Secret Lair Drop Series – $42.39

The Magic The Gathering card Arcane Signet by Trashkittyart.

The foil version of this darling is perhaps one of the most delicate Magic: The Gathering cards around. Like the other one, this Arcane Signet comes from a very special Super Lair Drop from 2025, Cats Are Better Than Dogs. This five-card Secret Lair drop is dedicated to Cats, with a chance to see a special Superdrop in 2026 if it outsold the Dog dedicated drop, which it did easily.

This Secret Lair features a pampered kitty getting its very own tiera, covered in pink ribbons and adorned with a massive, shining gem. This Secret Lair sold out quickly, making it a quick catapult to the top of most valuable Arcane Signets.

4

Arcane Signet – 1924 Rainbow Foil

Secret Lair Drop Series – $42.51

The Magic The Gathering card Arcande Signet by Nana Qi.

Everyone loves a good dog card and one of the goodest around is this Arcane Signet from the 2025 Dogs Are Better Than Cats drop. As part of a campaign to see which creature type between Cats and Dogs should get a dedicated Superdrop in 2026, which sadly saw it defeated by the kitties.

The Rainbow Foil version of the Secret Lair sold out pretty quickly, but if you managed to pick one of these drops up, you’re the real winner.

3

Arcane Signet – Borderless And Surge Foil

Universes Beyond: Fallout – $70.91

The Magic The Gathering card Arcane Signet by Akoa.

Fallout fans got a fantastic treat with the release of the Universes Beyond: Fallout expansion, a series of four Commander preconstructed decks that are designed around various factions and characters in the Fallout universe from across all the different games.

A lot of care was put into designing these cards, and while the Arcane Signet was included in every deck, if you’re after a surge foil version, it’s a little harder to find. Surge foils can only be found in Collector Boosters from the set, and given the limited printing of Collector Boosters and huge demand of the set, you can bet that this card will keep climbing in price.

2

Arcane Signet – 1492 Galaxy Foil

Secret Lair Drop Series – $72.49

The Magic The Gathering card Arcane Signet Foil by Dani Pendergast.

One of the most beautiful versions of the Arcane Signet comes from the Through the Wormhole Secret Lair drop, a futurist and ethereal take on some of Commander’s staple cards. This five-card Secret Lair features original artwork from Dani Pendergast and comes in a regular and galaxy foil version.

The Galaxy foiling is a rather new type of foiling for Magic cards, having first debuted back in the Unfinity set. The uniqueness of the foiling combed with the extremely limited print run helps drive the price of this Arcane Signet further and further up.

1

Arcane Signet – Future Sight Foil

Mystery Booster 2 – $74.51

The Magic The Gathering card Arcane Signet by Dan Murayama Scott.

One of the strangest iterations of this mana rock is also the most valuable one. The Arcane Signet from the Mystery Booster 2 set, a special set dedicated to mixing up Chaos Drafts and celebrating unique design choices that Wizards of the Coast can’t reproduce in regular sets, or isn’t quite ready to branch out to.

What makes this version so valuable is how rare it can be to pull one. Each pack has a guaranteed slot dedicated to a card with the Future Sight frame, but there’s less than five percent of cards with this frame that come in a traditional foiling.
