- Fans can expect official details on the game at the Japanese Star Wars Celebration event, but should remain cautious until then.
Respawn and Bit Reactor’s turn-based tactical Star Wars game might be named Star Wars: Zero Company, according to a new leak. This mystery project was one of three Star Wars games announced by Respawn and Electronic Arts back in 2022. The others were the acclaimed sequel Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and a first-person shooter that hasn’t been officially named at this time.
The Star Wars franchise lends itself well to strategy gaming, and Bit Reactor certainly has pedigree in the genre thanks to being founded by former members of Firaxis Games – the studio behind such franchises as Civilization and XCOM. The possibilities for this game are almost as vast as the Star Wars galaxy itself, which has expanded even further in recent years thanks to Disney + spin-off shows like The Mandalorian and Andor. Still, there haven’t been many further details about Respawn and Bit Reactor’s mystery Star Wars game since its initial announcement a few years ago.

Star Wars Jedi Has Hit a Ceiling That Might Be Difficult to Break
EA and Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi series may have difficulty expanding one major feature in the inevitable Star Wars Jedi 3.
Lucasfilm recently revealed that fans will finally get their first true look at Respawn and Bit Reactor’s turn-based Star Wars game at an upcoming weekend-long Star Wars Celebration event in Japan on April 19, but some major details might have been leaked early thanks to an investigation by MP1st. According to this unconfirmed leak, the game is called Star Wars: Zero Company.
New Star Wars Turn-Based Game Allegedly Titled Zero Company
Previous reports from MP1st have included alleged screenshots of Star Wars: Zero Company that indicate the game will have an isometric view. Some of the characters featured included a pair of Mandalorian mercenaries and a droid taking cover from enemy Stormtroopers during a prison rescue mission of some sort. Other leaked images include a hub world set in a mining colony in The Ring of Kafrene, a location Star Wars fans might recognize from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This hub world reportedly includes customization options such as Armory, Holotable, Special Ops, and Black Market.
Of course, none of the information in these leaks has been officially verified, so fans should stay skeptical until more concrete proof presents itself at the Japanese Star Wars Celebration event later this month. There, gamers will finally know what Respawn and Bit Reactor have been working on for the past few years and how it connects to the larger lore of the ever-growing Star Wars universe. Other major Star Wars games in development include Quantic Dreams’ Star Wars Eclipse and Saber Interactive’s remake of the beloved Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
