Path Of Exile 2: How To Increase Inventory Size
Inventory management is probably one of the most annoying parts of Path of Exile 2, as it fills up extremely quickly. Here’s how to increase the size.
In Path of Exile 2, pets are strictly cosmetic in nature, having no mechanical effect on your character’s build or loadout. But, they can still be great to have around, as they can add that extra layer of personalization to your character.
Path Of Exile 2 Pets Explained
Gear affects your stats and abilities, allowing you to create unique builds. However, pets in Path of Exile 2 are only an aesthetic choice. They are part of your equipment, like your armor and weapons, but they play purely a customization role. So, no matter how dangerous your pet looks, they will not help you in battle or even increase your stats.
Each player can equip up to two pets at a time in Path of Exile 2. They can follow you everywhere, although they will ignore enemies. In addition, you can put them in your hideout, where they will wander and do their pet business.
Luckily, equipping pets in Path of Exile 2 is extremely simple. You just need to open the customization menu in the Cosmetics section. By default, this menu is opened by pressing the M key. Then, select the Pet option and equip the desired creatures.

How To Unlock Pets In Path Of Exile 2
Even though pets don’t affect gameplay, they are quite difficult to obtain, at least during Early Access. Until the full version is released, players have only a few ways to unlock pets in Path of Exile 2.
Buy Supporter Packs
The easiest way to get a pet for your character in Path of Exile 2 is to buy one of the Supporter Packs. This only applies to the Lord of Ogham and King of the Faridun packs, as the Early Access Supporter Pack does not contain any goodies. Here are the Pets you can get:
- Lord of Ogham – Lord of Ogham Kiwi Pet and Baby Crowbell Pet
- King of the Faridun – King of the Fairdun Kiwi Pet, Lord of Ogham Kiwi Pet, and Baby Crowbell Pet
Transfer From Path Of Exile 1
All the Pets you worked hard to earn in the first Path of Exile can be transferred and used in Path of Exile 2. However, most of them will not be available for equipping until the full release of the game.
In-Game Shop
Also, players can purchase several Path of Exile 2 pets in the Shop for Points. And their prices can vary quite a bit:
- Baby Boss Pet Variations: 230-250 Points
- Tumbling Orb Pet Variations: 120-160 Points
- Octoparasite Pet Variations: 150-190 Points
- Suspicious Rock Pet Variations: 95-135 Points
Twitch Drop Rewards
Last but not least, it is worth the effort to claim Twitch Drop rewards when they crop up. For example, in December 2024, players could get valuable rewards by watching streamers playing Path of Exile 2. Of course, such events are available for a limited time, but among the rewards, there can be unique pets, so it’s always worth paying attention to any upcoming Twitch Drops for the game.
