Monster Hunter Wilds Players Want a Major Change Made to SOS Quests

After the official release of Title Update 1 for Monster Hunter Wilds, fans are asking that Capcom remove the option to try and join SOS quests that have already filled up with players. Monster Hunter Wilds has proven to be a major success for Capcom and quickly became the company’s fastest-selling title of all time.

A lot of features came with the release of Title Update 1, which included adding a new social hub to Monster Hunter Wilds. When gamers aren’t actively participating in hunts, they can visit the Grand Hub to interact with other players and have a bit of fun. Capcom also added a variety of mini-games that have been a big hit with a large portion of the community. As part of the update, fans can now face off against the aquatic monster Mizutsune, which has proven to be a real challenge for people facing off against its tempered variant.

Since specific monsters aren’t guaranteed to show up in every player’s world, many people resort to searching for SOS quests where they can assist someone else fighting the creature they’re currently looking for.

Monster Hunter Wilds Players Are Encountering Full SOS Quests

This seems to have become a particular frustration for players recently, as many people seem to be trying to hunt the new High Rank version of Zoh Shia in Monster Hunter Wilds at the same time. While this would normally be a good thing, as it produces more SOS quests to join, the hunts seem to be filling up faster than normal. Some fans pointed out that there might be an overwhelming surge of gamers joining the SOS quests at the same moment, meaning the system could be having a difficult time filtering quests that have already been filled.
