Marvel Rivals Fans Debate On Who The Game’s Mascot Is

How To Mute Players In Marvel Rivals

Summary

  • The Marvel Rivals community is divided on who the real mascot is.
  • The front runners are Jeff and Venom’s cake.
  • Galacta is the canon mascot, but the community wants to choose their own.

Marvel Rivals has done a lot of things right. Besides just being a good game, its unique art style, relative faithfulness to the source material, and packed content calendar is a big plus. It also helps that most of its characters are quite hot. From Reed Richards to the recently announced Emma Frost, Marvel Rivals is filled with thirst traps.

However, when it comes to picking who the mascot of the game is, there’s more at play than just looks. Of course, Galacta is the mascot that the devs have picked, but we all know that it’s the community that decides who the real mascot is – and there are a ton of contenders, from hot to cute to absolutely cakey.

In a question posed on the Marvel Rivals subreddit, the community appears to be split between who the popular choice for the game’s mascot is. Many believe that Galacta, being the host and announcer, is the mascot, but since the community wants to choose its own mascot, there are plenty of potential candidates.

Jeff, being the cutest and most ridiculous character on the roster, has a lot of support. Not only is he adorable, but his ultimate has become a meme in the Marvel Rivals community. In the early days of the game, he was creating absolute chaos by gobbling entire teams and spitting them off ledges.

However, as I mentioned earlier, the thirst traps also have a strong following, especially thanks to their beefy behinds. While there are a myriad of characters who look great from the back, none of them are as caked out as Venom. The fact that the comments section is filled with images of his booty is proof that he has enough backing to become the fans’ mascot. The Venom twerking emote further gave this sentiment a boost.

So, it seems that the front runners for the spot of community mascot are a four-legged land shark and the backside of an alien slime monster. Don’t we all just love video games?
