Castorice is one of the many characters from Amphoreus in Honkai: Star Rail. She’s known for having a touch of death, which prevents her from having physical contact with people. This causes her to have a lonely childhood, with her only friend passing later in her life.
In combat, however, Castorice is far from alone. She’s accompanied by a terrifying dragon who helps her deal massive damage in battle. As the two take the theme of life and death, it’s natural that their playstyle revolves around the HP stat; this is the basic idea for Castorice build in HSR.

Best Castorice Relics In Honkai: Star Rail
The best relics for Castorice in Honkai: Star Rail is the Poet of Mourning Collapse set. Castorice is slow, and the set’s passive effect further slows her down in exchange for granting her a whopping 32% Crit Rate. Unlike other DPS in Honkai: Star Rail, Castorice doesn’t lose any value because of her SPD. Her Netherwing is the star of her entire kit, with its own SPD and stats. If Netherwing is gone, Castorice just needs her Ultimate to call it back to the field, which is also unrelated to her SPD.
For Planar Ornaments, build Castorice with Bone Collection’s Serene Demesne in Honkai: Star Rail. The Planar set further increases Castorice’s Max HP on top of buffing her Crit DMG by 28%. Castorice will have an enormous amount of Crit Rate because of her relics, so giving her Crit DMG from the Planar Ornaments makes sense.

Going into Castorice’s stats, make sure to maximize Castorice’s HP by giving her HP on each opportunity. Since she doesn’t need SPD, you can replace the boot’s main stat with HP. You can also prioritize HP over Quantum DMG on her Planar Sphere. However, it’s still better to give Castorice Crit DMG over HP for her Body Relic. As for Sub-stats, prioritize HP also and make sure to find as much Crit DMG and Crit Rate as possible to maximize her Crit value.
Best Castorice Light Cones In Honkai: Star Rail
There are not a lot of options when it comes to Castorice’s best Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail. Other than her Signature Light Cone, Castorice suffers in that department. Path of Remembrance doesn’t have a wide range of options (as of Castorice’s release) because the Path was only added in version 3.0. For that, make sure to pull for Castorice’s best-in-slot Light Cone Make Farewells More Beautiful in Honkai: Star Rail. It greatly increases her max HP by 30% alongside allowing Castorice and her Netherwing to ignore 30% of the enemies’ DEF. Moreover, Netherwing disappears a lot during combat. So, if Castorice didn’t collect enough to cast her Ultimate before that occurrence, Make Farewells More Beautiful also solves that problem by slightly advancing her action to cast her Skill and build her Ultimate.
As for replacements, none can come close to the best Castorice Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail. If you’re not ready to get Castorice’s Signature Light Cone, then build Castorice with the Battle Pass Light Cone, Sweat Now, Cry Less. It’s a general Light Cone that buffs Castorice’s Crit Rate and DMG. However, it still doesn’t come close to how overpowered Make Farewells More Beautiful is.
Other Light Cones like Victory In a Blink and Reminiscence are also acceptable, but just use them as a placeholder until better Remembrance Light Cones are out or when Castorice’s rerun comes.
