WWE 2K25 still has several surprises in store, with special moves unique to certain wrestlers. Rob Van Dam is one of the most distinctive wrestlers, whose wrestling style is inspired by martial arts legend Jean-Claude Van Damme.
His high-flying and extreme style helped him become a superstar in both ECW and WWE. One of RVD’s most famous wrestling moves is the Vandaminator, and WWE 2K25 fans will be excited to know they can replicate his devastating chair shot in no disqualification and extreme rules matches.

How To Perform The Vandaminator In WWE 2K25
RVD was recognized for his extreme wrestling style and creative ability to incorporate martial arts skills into his matches. ECW provided him with a platform to showcase his creativity with signature moves like the Vandaminator. This maneuver is particularly effective in no disqualification matches, such as Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, Extreme Rules, or Falls Count Anywhere, where using chair shots and other foreign objects does not result in a disqualification. Use the following steps to set up a no-DQ match and ensure chairs are set up underneath the ring:
- From the home screen, select Play.
- Then select a no disqualification style match, such as Extreme Rules or Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, and highlight the Match Rules tab.
- If you selected a no-rules match type, the No DQ option will be off by default. However, you can customize a regular match to switch off disqualifications.
- Press Accept until you reach the Weapons Wheel screen.
- Ensure you have chairs as a selectable weapon underneath the ring.
- Select Rob Van Dam and his opponent and start the match.
Executing The Vandaminator
Despite being a unique move, Rob Van Dam doesn’t need any signature or finishing moves to be stored. He can perform it at any time in and out of the ring.
- As RVD, beat your opponent down so they are on the canvas long enough to give you time to get outside the ring.
- At the ringside, grab a chair from under the ring by holding the LB/L1 button near the ring apron and selecting the chair from the weapon wheel.
- With a chair in Rob Van Dam’s hand, stand in front of the opponent and hold the A/X button to throw the chair into your opponent’s hands to execute the Vandaminator.
