The End Should Be Steve’s Next Destination

Since the Nether played a huge role in A Minecraft Movie, the End Dimension feels like the obvious next stop for a sequel. It’s home to some of the most mysterious and dangerous elements in the game, with its eerie atmosphere, floating terrain, and scary structures.

Since Endermen are native to this dimension, they could also play a larger role in the sequel’s story. Whether they’re portrayed as enemies, allies, or something in between, their presence alone would make the sequel more entertaining and unpredictable. Of course, the Ender Dragon could serve as a massive final threat. Seeing Steve and his buddies fight the Ender Dragon and free the End would be awesome to witness.

A Minecraft Movie gave fans a surprising amount of depth when it came to Steve, showing glimpses of his past and what drives him to be so creative. It would only make sense for the sequel to shift the focus to Alex and her backstory, as she was the only other default skin in the game alongside Steve for almost a decade.

Exploring who Alex is, where she came from, and what her goals are could add a lot of emotional weight to the story while also helping balance the spotlight between the two leads.
