Aside from Lawrence, Marshmallow stars Giorgia Whigham, best known for her work on Netflix’s The Punisher and Peacock’s comedy series Ted. Alysia Reiner of the Orange Is the New Black fame is also part of the cast, together with Kai Cech (Dear Santa), Pierson Fode (The Man from Toronto, 72 Hours), and Corbin Bernsen (L.A. Law, The Dentist, Psych). Marshmallow is based on a screenplay by Andy Greskoviak, an L.A.-based writer known for his work on the 2021 zombie horror comedy Black Friday. Hemlock Circle Productions co-founders Warner Davis and Todd M. Friedman are credited as producers.
