Final Fantasy 14‘s crystal candy, originally introduced back in 2021, is finally making a comeback. The crystal candy, which is based upon Final Fantasy 14‘s crystal shards, crystals, and crystal clusters, is available for pre-order from retailer Isetan through April 25. The product will ship from Japan in August 2025. The candy costs 3,201 yen, or roughly $21.67 at time of publication. The product itself comes from Japanese confectioner Harapeko, and is based upon classic Japanese candy kohakutou. Traditionally, these candies are made from sugar, water, and agar agar, creating a crunchy and chewy texture. The box features Final Fantasy 14 branding and an image of an elemental wheel on the inside of the box. This candy sold out in a single day the last time it was made available, so fans shouldn’t miss this opportunity.

Final Fantasy 14 Has a Lot to Look Forward To

Final Fantasy 14 recently launched its 7.2 patch, which added new content, made job adjustments, and closed out the Moogle Treasure Trove event. However, there’s still a lot more on the horizon. Fans are looking forward to the Occult Crescent, a new Field Operations series, as well as Cosmic Exploration, which will see the Warrior of Light working with the Loporrits to develop planets. The story is also continuing, with the post-Dawntrail series of main story quests gradually being added to the title.

For fans who are looking for more Final Fantasy 14 merchandise, there’s new releases coming out seemingly all the time. Some of the latest include a version of Dawntrail’s regulator, which can be worn as a hairpin or headband, costumes and accessories based on Moogles and Fat Chocobos, and more. However, the most exciting of these has arguably been the release of the Final Fantasy and Magic: The Gathering collaboration, which, according to a recent leak, will have a number of new cards launching soon.
