But, for quite a while now, Oda has been drawing 3 chapters and then taking a break to recuperate from all the stress that comes with drawing a weekly manga. Years ago, Oda used to take a break from One Piece every 6 chapters, but the years have taken their toll on him, and the amount has dropped significantly now.
During the Wano Country arc, Oda was still dropping around 4 chapters consecutively, which were then followed by a break. Now, Oda takes a break after every 3 chapters, and sometimes even just two. Regardless, this is the price that fans have to pay if they want Oda to also take care of his health even a little bit.

One Piece Chapter 1146 Predictions: Gunko and The Straw Hat Pirates Will Finally Clash
Fans fully expect One Piece chapter 1146 to be absolutely massive in regards to building up the Elbaf plot even more. It is clear at this point that the Elbaf arc is going to show Gunko in action soon. Although the ship has very strong fighters onboard, such as Jinbe, Gunko should be far stronger, and capable of dealing with Jinbe effortlessly.
