Pinnacle Coins are one of the unique rewards that you can earn by completing various Arena and Challenge quests provided by Ricardo at the Arena Quest Counter in the Grand Hub. They’re noted in their item description as a “commemorative coin bestowed upon those who have mastered the craft.” They’re a separate earning from the various monster-named coins that can be earned as well, such as Chata Coins and Rathain Coins.

While you can earn monster-named coins for simply defeating the monster in question during the quest, to further earn Pinnacle Coins, you need to put on your best performance. Completed battles in the Arena are ranked by the time spent attacking and vanquishing the monster, from C-Rank up to A-Rank.

The higher your time rank, the better rewards you receive, including greater amounts of coins. However, similar to regular open-world quests, fainting can still impact your rewards, so it’s important to be mindful of that.

As further noted in their descriptions, Pinnacle Coins are an Equipment Material-type item, which means you can bring them to the Smithy for armor crafting purposes. Once you earn your first coins, the respective armor sets and accessories they’re used for will unlock.

Visit any Smithy, whether at the Grand Hub or any other Base Camp, and make sure you have the High Rank armor tab selected. Scroll down, and you should see the following armor sets available, provided that you’ve earned monster-named coins and Pinnacle Coins:

  • Clerk (alpha) – both “male” and female” sets available, but both are unisex (seen above)
  • Guild Cross (alpha)
  • Gourmand’s Earring (alpha) – two variants available (one features a single earring, while the other is a pair)
  • Earrings of Dedication (alpha) – two variants available (one features a single earring while the other is a pair)

To craft, each piece of the Clerk armor set and the Guild Cross armor set requires varying amounts of coins along with various monster materials you otherwise earn from High Rank battle quests. Meanwhile, the earring accessories require coins along with various items gathered from Mining Deposits.

As the Arena continues to add more battle opportunities for players in future patches, the availability of unique armor sets like these may expand as well, so make sure to check in at the Arena Quest Counter regularly.
