If you want to create the Lailah Queen Skell, you’ll need many materials. Here is the full list and how to find them in Xenoblade Chronicles X: DE.

The Inferno Skydon also comes with a wide variety of customization options that aren’t available for Skells like the Ares or Hraesvelg models. This guide will detail how to obtain all the necessary materials so that you can create the Inferno Skydon Skell for yourself in order to tear through endgame foes.

Material List For The Inferno Skydon Skell

The creation menu for the Inferno Skydon Skell in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition.

Like all level 60 Skell models in this game, you only gain the ability to create the Inferno Skydon after you’ve completed Chapter 12 of the main story. Once you’ve done that, you can head over to the AM Manager terminal in Armory Alley to access the material lists for the newly unlocked Skell designs.

Here’s a list of all the materials required to create the Inferno Skydon and how to obtain them.

Material

Amount

How To Obtain

Rexoskell Sucker

6

These materials are exclusively dropped by the Rexoskell enemy, which can only be fought in the time attack mission known as Gone Berserk. You can unlock this time attack mission by completing the normal mission Definian Downfall.

Crude Neilnail Mask

1

These materials are dropped exclusively by the Neilnail Albus and Neilnail Furvus enemies, who you can fight via the time attack mission Twin Dolls of Mystery. You unlock this time attack mission at the same time you unlock this Skell design, after completing Chapter 12 of the main story.

Xe-dom Crimson Crest

4

This material is unique in that it is only dropped by one enemy in the entire game: Du-rha, the Imprisoned. You can find this Xe-dom tyrant in Sylvalum by flying over the southern wall of the region and landing on the horizontal bit sticking out. Turn around to find a cave, then take the first left upon going inside.

Ancient Armor

3

This material can be obtained by defeating any Xe-dom enemy across Mira. The easiest place to find them would be the big ones patrolling the open areas of Sylvalum.

Advanced Crank

3

This material is dropped by Seidr enemies, which you can find in Sylvalum and Cauldros. For those in Sylvalum, check near any Ganglion outposts you see, while for those in Cauldros you can find them patrolling the skies.

Xe-dom Hand

4

Like the previously listed Ancient Armor, this material can be obtained by defeating any and all Xe-dom enemies in the game.

Ouroboros Crystal

2

This precious resource can only be obtained by placing mining probes using FrontierNav. Specifically, you’ll want to place any tier of mining probe on FN Site 308, FN Site 309, and FN Site 320.

Miranium

10,000

By placing mining probes on FrontierNav, you’ll automatically collect Miranium as you go about exploring Mira and completing quests. Though it is important to make sure you have enough storage probes placed so that you can carry enough Miranium for this creation recipe.

While this list may make it seem like you need to do a lot of grinding to obtain all these materials, there’s actually a much easier way. All of these materials aside from those exclusive to FrontierNav can also be purchased from the Material Market. If you were to buy all the necessary materials through this method, it would cost you a total of 4,875 material tickets.

Once you’ve obtained all the necessary materials, simply head back to the AM Manager to create your very own Inferno Skydon. Unlike those purchased in the shop, once you’ve used all the materials to create this Skell, it will automatically be added to your Skell hangar for you to use however you see fit.
