Call of Duty has announced a visual adjustment for the T-800 ultra skin that is supposed to fix its identification issue. Ever since the skin was released with the Terminator Event, fans have been expressing frustration, calling it the “most broken” operator in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. However, it seems that it took the developer nearly three months to notice the issue and try to fix it.
Shortly after the Terminator Event in February 2025, fans called out Call of Duty’s T-800 skin, labeling it as an obvious pay-to-win item. The skin, which is based on a robot from the Terminator franchise, had an undeniable problem: it could blend into almost any background, making it nearly invisible. Multiple videos show players using the T-800’s Endo Titanium Core skin to hide in plain sight and take down several enemies without being detected. Despite this, the Call of Duty team allowed the item to remain in the game, leading fans to speculate that it was intentionally designed this way to drive in-game microtransactions.

Despite CoD’s efforts to fix the Terminator skin, the game still has a long way to go to balance all of its controversial operator skins. One unfortunate trend seen with Call of Duty’s Battle Pass rewards is the introduction of overpowered premium items that stay in the game for a season before receiving a patch.
