When it comes to meals in Monster Hunter Wilds, the type of food players eat can make a big difference. Each type of ingredient offers a different type of buff that can greatly affect how certain playstyles feel and how effective players can be overall.
There are quite a few types of ingredients in the game, and if you’re looking to fit in a few extra skills for your MH Wilds builds, then you can choose to eat for them instead. Here are all the food buffs in the games so far.

All Food and Meal Skills in Monster Hunter Wilds
Players have access to a variety of food and ingredient combos that they can cook on-demand at base or with their portable barbecue grill, and if you have some spare Meal Vouchers, you can head on over to the Grand Hub and request food from there too.
Some skills are guaranteed to activate after eating a meal, while others only have a small chance of triggering after eating certain meals or ingredients.

Some food skills that overlap with armor skills will stack their effects on top of each other. For example, if you have Constitution 3 and eat for Black Belt Hi, it will be the same as having Constitution 5.

Unlike previous Monster Hunter games, fainting will no longer clear your food buffs (with a few exceptions). However, do pay your food buff timer attention, as they only last for 50 minutes at most.
