Street Fighter 6 allows you to taunt your opponent in the middle of the match by pressing all of your attack buttons at once. Every character has three taunts, with each being dedicated to a directional input. During the taunt, your character will perform a unique animation that you cannot interrupt or end by yourself.

Cammy
Back Taunt
Cammy is the classic mercenary who has been around as early as Street Fighter Two. Naturally, she’s a popular character to pick in Street Fighter 6 as well. Her taunt involves a deep full-body stretch in the middle of the battle, indicating how the fight isn’t even a warm-up for her.
The taunt doesn’t last too long. However, do prepare to eat a full combo if your opponent decides to drive rush in. Cammy’s stretching taunt, in particular, is very popular in the Street Fighter community.

Blanka
Forward Taunt
The chaotic beast from Street Fighter 2, Blanka is an unorthodox character with long-ranged attacks. Blanka’s taunt shows him sitting in an awkward position while clapping his huge hands together like a chimpanzee. Right after, he switches to pointing at the opponent while laughing in the funniest way.

The best thing about this taunt is how infuriating it is. Blanka’s gameplay is already enough to get on the opponent’s nerves, but this taunt added on top will likely ruin their day. It’s also a fast taunt that can be done safely after stunning the opponent.

Lily
Back Taunt
Lily is a newcomer to the Street Fighter franchise, first debuting in Street Fighter 6. Lily’s taunt has her pulling out a Polaroid camera and snapping an image of her opponent. She’s nice enough to also give her opponent a thumbs up after taking the picture. Quite a bizarre thing to do for a taunt, but it fits her innocent character perfectly.
Lily may not be the best character if your goal is to make fun of your opponent, but her taunt certainly brings a goofy vibe to the match. Plus, the flash from her camera is a real hit. A hilarious placement for this taunt would be after your opponent whiffs their critical art or OD Dragon Punch.

Chun Li
Back Taunt
Chun Li is one of the most iconic female fighting game characters of all time. Of course, her taunt doesn’t disappoint either. She starts by yawning, which then transitions into a stretching pose. While not as deep of a stretch as Cammy, she still makes sure to let you know that the fight is completely boring her.
Chun Li isn’t the type of character who makes fun of her opponents simply because they’re weak, but Capcom still managed to place a “polite” enough yawn in her taunt that fits her character perfectly.

Luke
Back Taunt
Luke is the overconfident face of Street Fighter 6. Capcom puts the arrogant nature of Luke on full display with his taunt, showing him making fun of the Hadoken. He quite literally does the Hadoken motion with his hands in the most condescending way possible. The best part of the taunt is how Luke’s voice actor perfectly delivers the condescending tone.

Aki
Down Taunt
Aki is a psychotic character who enjoys inflicting pain on others. Her taunt perfectly embodies her unhinged personality, as she drinks her own poison. After drinking, she hugs herself ecstatically while moving back and forth. Capcom also gives her a special effect during the hug, with a vibrating screen as she shakes out of excitement.
This is a great taunt simply because of how well done it is. The animation is much better than your average taunt, with Aki being extremely expressive. However, it’s a relatively long taunt that is guaranteed to allow your opponent to get a full combo on you.

Dhalsim
Down Taunt
Dhalsim is the iconic yoga master who makes a return to Street Fighter 6 with one of the funniest taunts. He simply extends his arm as far out as required, then motions with his hand to bring it on. The hilarious part about this taunt is that his arm literally takes up the whole screen.

Of course, Dhalsim won’t extend his arm as much if the opponent is closer to him. The best way to execute this taunt would be to stun your opponent in the corner, then teleport all the way back to the other side of the screen. Once there, watch Dhalsim extend his arm and mock the opponent.

Akuma
Back Taunt And Down Taunt
Akuma is one of the greatest fighting game villains of all time, so it’s only fitting that he has the best taunt in Street Fighter 6. While his other taunts are great, the back taunt, in particular, is special. It’s a cool easter egg that allows Akuma to transform into Shin Akuma.
Once Akuma is transformed, he gets access to entirely new moves. Unfortunately, it’s nearly impossible to pull this off in a real match because of how long it takes. If you want to try regardless, simply do the back taunt and then hold down and taunt. You will get Shin Akuma once Akuma finishes his rice ball.
