Travelers who have started exploring Natlan in Genshin Impact will encounter a Tepetlisaur Whelp that will become their companion on the journey. From version 5.0, this Saurian has been featured in numerous World Quests and puzzles, making players attached to the Whelp called Little One (default name). But everything had to come to an end when the last quest for the Little One was released in version 5.5.
The final quest is titled Someday, We All Must Walk Alone, and it is unlocked after going through every quest and puzzle related to the Little One, making it hard for some players in the community to get it. Travelers can only unlock the Someday, We All Must Walk Alone Quest by completing all quests related to the Little One in Genshin Impact. This includes quest chains that have the Little One as the main character, sub-quests, world quests, and even Archon Quests where the Little One has been shown or has its own dialogue. All Puzzles Related to Little One
After completing all the related quests in Genshin Impact, there are three puzzles in the open world of Natlan. These puzzles are also related to Little One that you need to complete so the Someday, We All Must Walk Along Quest will be unlocked.
The first one is by completing Urubamba’s Warrior Challenge and ascending the podium to get the achievement ‘I Am Speed.’ You can find Urubamba on the edge of “Collective of Plent,” northeast from the Statue of the Seven. However, you must first complete his predicament to locate all eight Tatankasaur Whelps around his position. The Whelps are scattered in five different spots, and each of them has its own simple puzzle for you to complete. Once you have returned with all the Tatankasaur Whelps, talk to Urubamba once again to start the Warrior Challenge.
The second puzzle is located on the cliff northeast of “Flower-Feather Clan.” For this one, you need to transform into an Iktomisaur and use its skill on the glowing shape to remove the rock. Then, go to the plate and add a Saurus Crackers plate before you can investigate the Kamera and take a picture. This will reward you with a Precious Chest while also allowing you to get closer to unlocking the Someday, We All Must Walk Along Quest.
Remember that you need to offer the ‘Delicious’ variant of the Saurus Crackers and not the normal one.
The last puzzle is to power up the Secret Source Dragon Idol in the Sea of Shifting Sentience, Ancient Sacred Mountain. Go to the waypoint southeast of the Sea of Shifting Sentience and indwell a Tatankasaurus to smash the Pulverites inside a gate. Afterward, infuse the device with Phlogiston so the Secret Source Servant removes the barrier and spawns a treasure chest.
Follow the servant to the platform above by clicking on the ‘Start’ option when you’re above the box, and let the piece embed in the ground and activate the mechanism to summon the Secret Source Dragon Idol.
After completing all quests and puzzles related to the Little One, you will unlock the Someday, We All Must Walk Along Quest in Genshin Impact, which can be spotted in the Quest Menu.
How To Complete Someday, We All Must Walk Alone Quest in Genshin Impact
Once you obtain the quest, teleport to Tepeacac Rise waypoint and head west to the Rest Area Entrance beneath the waterfall. You will be transported to a hidden domain, where you first meet Little One, and also the place to say goodbye. Follow the quest navigation and take a picture with Little One and Paimon, and you will complete the quest while also unlocking the achievement ‘Then You Will Be Free to…’ in Genshin Impact, marking the end of Little One’s quest.
