Marvel Rivals Adding Incredibly Nostalgic X-Men Skin for Magik

The popular Duelist Magik in Marvel Rivals will be receiving a “Retro X-Uniform” costume that features the signature yellow and blue design of many classic X-Men outfits. It has been announced that Marvel Rivals‘ Season 2: Hellfire Gala will begin on April 11 and is set to add Emma Frost to the popular hero shooter as a Vanguard.

NetEase Games recently revealed big changes will be coming to Marvel Rivals in the near future. Starting with Season 3, seasons will only last for two months instead of three, but they’ll continue to receive the same amount of content. This means players will soon see a new character added to the hero shooter’s roster every single month. The developers claimed that the change is in the interest of keeping players excited and engaged. Continually expanding the roster will also allow gamers to play more of their favorite Marvel heroes and villains. Of course, this means gamers will be receiving new battle passes and cosmetics more frequently as well.

In a recent trailer, the duo can be seen sporting their new outfits as they leap into action together in an effort to fight off the villain Ultron, who will be added to the game’s roster in a large mid-season update.

While both skins will be included in the Marvel Rivals‘ battle pass for Season 2: Hellfire Gala, many players are hoping to see more X-Men heroes don similar retro outfits in the future. Along with many other cosmetics, the pass itself will feature 10 new skins for players to collect.
